Giana Jo Ketelsen, daughter of Ryan and Stephanie Ketelsen, died peacefully in her daddy’s arms and into the arms of Jesus, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota on January 13th, 2022 at 9:05 a.m. Giana was born November 2, 2021 and though her time may have been brief in this world, she made such a huge impact on so many that are left behind to cherish her memories. Her days were filled with receiving the best care in the world from her NICU doctors and nurses at Saint Mary’s Hospital. She had a fierce soul and fiery personality with an attitude full of spunk and spark that always kept her team on their toes. She showed so much courage and strength as her days were filled with so many medical treatments and procedures. Her eyes were bright and had a twinkle in them always. She loved warm blankies swaddled around her, holding Mommy and Daddy’s fingers, head rubs and butt pats. She also loved the few times Mommy and Daddy were able to hold her, snuggle her close and give her so much extra love. Giana leaves behind so many loved ones. Parents, Ryan and Stephanie, brothers Cully and John, sister Rosie. Amazing grandparents, Dena Ketelsen, Kent Ketelsen, Lisa and Kevin Eichmeier and Dean and Charlene Betts. Great Grandparents, Phyllis Krones, Karen Ketelsen and Mildred Betts. Several Aunts and Uncles, Jason Ketelsen and Brian Kurtas, Nathan Ketelsen, Joclyn and Travis Rawn, Lindsey and Keith Dyball, Shawn Eichmeier, Reece Eichmeier, Jen Olson and Mandy Olson. So many cousins that loved looking at her pictures, Sophia, Nicholas, Brianne, Jonathan, Hallie, Mackinnon, Arya, Emma, Maverick, Benson and Jackson. She joins sister Kapri Ketelsen in heaven along with Great Grandparents Dean Ketelsen, Jerry and Billie Rogers, Stanley Krones and George Betts.
