Janiece Eileen (Ulven) Gerbig, quietly departed this life on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center surrounded by her loving family. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by the lives of her eight children: Sheila (Pat) Hennessey, Linda Abben (Bev Dewalle), Doreen (Tracy) Klemesrud, Kenneth (JoAnn) Gerbig, Rodney (Elaine) Gerbig, Karen Nelson, John (Steph) Gerbig and Pam (Glen) Williams; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren as well as their spouses; 1 great-great-grandchild, with an additional coming soon. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Darrell Kroneman, sister-in-law, Marian Ulven, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her: parents; brothers, Donald Ulven and Duane Ulven; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Walt Adams; son-in-law, Ken Nelson; and great-grandsons Max Bushlack and Rhett Gerbig. All are welcome to join the family in a celebration of life Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Osage VFW from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
