Gregory Badker, age 86, of Osage, Iowa died Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Kanawha Community Home in Kanawha, Iowa. Graveside services will be10:00 A.M. Friday, April 14, 2023 at Osage Cemetery in Osage, Iowa with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. With Military Rites by Osage American Legion #278. Gregory was born February 3, 1937 in Mason City, IA the son of George and Florence (Dargan) Badker. He joined the U.S. Army in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1958. He served during the Korean conflict. He was a truck driver most of his life. He loved fishing, hunting and feeding the birds and tending to his roses. Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents; daughter, Lori and son, William (Bill) an infant brother Billy, brothers, George Jr., Doug and a sister Constance Duren. Greg is survived by his children, Alan (Dee) Badker of Mason City and Lana (Brett) Fish of Corwith; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Badker and wife Isabel of Plattesville, CO; Bernie Badker and wife Deidre of New Hartford; three sisters Nancy Potter of Osage; Norma Colgrove and husband Don of Black Hawk, SD and Mary Perrin of Osage, many nieces and nephews.
