Judy LaVonne (Pike) Gunderson (79) of Keokuk, IA (formerly of Mason City, IA) passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Keokuk Area Hospital from pneumonia. Judy was born May 27, 1942 in Mitchell County. She was the daughter of Roy C. And Marvyleen (Naber) Pike. She attended Otranto school and later Northwood-Kensett and graduated with the class of 1962. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 14. Judy attended Hamilton's Business College and after graduation was employed at Masters Chiropractic Clinic. She was married to Ken Gunderson from 1978 to 1985. They settled in Plymouth, IA where she helped raise her 3 step children-Rhonda, Kendra, and Benjamin. She loved to write, knit and crochet and donated many handmade items to charity and those in need. Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her siblings Robert (Darla) Pike of Chandler, AZ; Gerald (Kathy) Pike of Cottage Grove, MN and Linda (Richard) Rice of Lake Mills, IA along with many nieces and nephews. A private graveside ceremony will be held on September 18th.
