Blair Madden, age 60, of St. Ansgar, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Northwood with Pastor Becky Sogge officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2020, at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home – 1211 10th St. S. Northwood, IA. Blair Allen Madden was born October 16, 1959, in Black Hawk County, Iowa, the son of Irvin and Beth (Mellman) Madden. He attended Carpenter and St. Ansgar schools. In 1984, Blair married Sandy Liljadahl they later divorced. He married Darcy Rabb in 1995 and they later divorced. Blair worked for the Northwood Co-op, City of Northwood, A to Z Drying, Croell Redi-Mix and drove truck. He had a love for cars and motorcycles. Blair enjoyed time with his sons and granddaughters. Blair is survived by his sons. Cody (Hattie) Madden of Northwood and Derek Madden of Mason City; three granddaughters; his mother, Beth Madden of St. Ansgar; sister, Gail Schorg of St. Ansgar; many nieces and nephews; and Deeken his dog. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Calvin; and sister, Cindy.
