Clement (Clem Hemann drew his last breath June 30, 2021. He passed way and leaves this world to enter Heaven. He fought a brave battle with cancer and leaves behind one son Craig Hemann. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage with military honors by Osage American Legion Post 278. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. To 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Clem was born to Alban and Kathren (Becker) Hemann November 29, 1934. He was the 6th out of 8 children. He was raised in Meyer, Iowa and worked on the farm. He joined the Army Company D First Battalion in 1959. Clem met and married Bernice Marsolek on August 29, 1959. Together they built a loving marriage that blessed them with one son Craig Hemann on October 19, 1962. Clem and Bernice lived and farmed North of Osage before moving to town. Clem worked at White and Olivier for several years as a welder. He also did welding for friends and family. He was known to be an excellent welder. Clem was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was proud to have been a veteran. He was also an advocate for the ARC. He did his best to help them with fundraisers and functions. Clem loved spending time gardening, playing cards, fishing, polka dances, golfing, church and family. Though he loved his 3 gardens he gave many of us the fruit of his labor and we loved it. Clem is preceded in death by: his wife, Bernice; parents, Alban and Kathren Hemann; brother, Vincent and Irene Hemann; sister, Viola Hemann; brother Eugene and Donna Hemann; brother-in-law, Jerry Michels; brother, Gervase and Patty and Nance; sister, Evelyn and Al Landherr; sister, Belle and Bernard Spitz. He is remembered with much love by his son Craig Hemann, sister, Lucella (Sally) Michels, many nephews, nieces and the Marsolek family. His golf buddies, fishing friends and not to forget his fellow card players. May he rest in peace. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
