Delores J. Olson, age 89, of Osage, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, 3269 Foothill Avenue, Osage, with Pastor Joel Nye officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Osage. Internment will be at Rock Creek Cemetery following the funeral. Delores was born September 17, 1932, in Savannah, Missouri. She graduated from Osage High School in 1952. On April 9, 1954, she married Keith Olson at Rock Creek Lutheran Church. They made their home in the Rock Creek area where they farmed and raised their family. She was a member of Rock Creek Lutheran Church most of her life and a member of the Sunshine Circle. She loved to bowl in her ladies' bowling leagues, participate in neighborhood birthday parties, and play games around the kitchen table - especially marbles with grand and great grandkids. She embraced Keith's Norwegian heritage including the making and eating of lefse and lutefisk. Dee is survived by her children, Cheryl Olson of Osage, Carol (Mark) Mullenbach of Little Cedar, Cindy (Brent) Gobeli, of Plymouth, and Kris Olson of Osage; nine grandchildren, Michelle (John Michael) Garza, Erik (Elizabeth) Mullenbach, Steven (Kimber) Mullenbach, Ryan (Beth) Gobeli, Shelby Gobeli, Elizabeth (Cody) Fedeler, Kully Olson, Trevor Olson, and Matthew Olson; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Darlene Anderson of Long Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; her parents; sisters, Dorothy Harrison, Shirley Newhouse, brother, Lawrence Taylor; and great grandchildren, Bella Mullenbach, Jaxon Garza and Jensen Garza.
