Rebecca Sue VanHorn was welcomed home by the Lord April 29, 2022. She was a loving mother and daughter. She is remembered by her daughter Jaclyn Garcia and her son Kevin VanHorn. She has returned home to her sister Debra Johann, her mother Diane VanHorn and Father Jack Vanhorn. Ceremony will be held at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home on May 14, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Baldwin officiating. There will be a gathering at Worth Brewing Company for those that like to visit with the family on May 14 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Hotel rooms are put aside at Country Inn and Suites, 711 Diamond Jo Lane, Northwood for Friday and Saturday under VanHorn. In lieu of flowers please direct your memorials to the family. Cards can be mailed to 304 12th Street South Northwood, IA 50459.

I worked with Rebecca for a couple of years, She was very knowledgeable, dedicated and always willing to help all her co-worker. She is greatly missed. I regret the fact I was unable to attend her funeral due to to being out of town. My thoughts and prayers are with Rebecca's family and friends. May God give you comfort and peace as you go through this difficult time.

I also worked with Becky for many years and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was so smart, fun to work with and would do anything for anyone. I know she will be missed.

I am extremely saddened by the news of Becky’s passing. I worked with her for over 10 years in Georgia. She was kind, funny and a complete joy to be around. My heartfelt sympathies to her as well as her family. God Blesd
