Cassie was like a mother figure after the passing of Ma and our mother. Our family always enjoyed visiting her around Christmas and singing carols to her. She will always be remembered as the best brownie maker in Iowa.

I went for a walk this morning along the river boardwalk here in Florida, the sun was glistening off the water, ospreys were flying overhead. I looked up at the sky and smiled ear to ear and I thought of my great-aunt Cassie!! :-) She had such a sweet smile and I have wonderful memories of her. I keep her family in my thoughts. Lots of love, Karen (Sharon Stibal's daughter)
