Gary Alvin Schultz, age 80, of Stacyville, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27,2024 at St. Ansgar United Methodist in St. Ansgar, with Martha Chancellor officiating. Burial will be in Little Cedar Cemetery in Little Cedar. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St. Ansgar United Methodist. Gary was born October 12, 1943, in Cerro Gordo County, to Alvin K. and Myrtle (Woodwiss) Schultz. He attended Little Cedar Public School. Gary farmed near Stacyville with his parents and continued to live on the family farm. He was a member of Little Cedar Methodist Church. Gary is survived by his cousins, Ronnie Zatochill of Arizonia and Merle Sprung of Minnesota. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
